My NSP Journey

The article is the first of a series. Disclaimer: my posts may be quite personal.

I have a love-hate relationship with Social Media. Every time I go online, I see people sharing their wins, getting new jobs, getting promoted, getting funding, you name it. Seeing all that every time made me hate it here, especially because I am a high achiever who isn’t achieving much (in my opinion)

However, I have realized that no one can tell your story better than you. Also, Social media isn’t a total representation of life experiences. While others are getting new jobs or promotions, some others taking courses, volunteering, and maybe trying to figure out what they want to do- careerwise. So my posts are for those without wins, for those who feel less when they are truly more.

I am not writing these because I am successful; I am doing this to encourage myself and document my experiences for the next few months. I started a YouTube Channel a while ago to do this, but making videos has been hard and too personal. So I put it on hold (I will probably write about that later.

For the next few months, my articles will be about my journey as an NSP Scholar at the Nigerian University of Management and Technology. I will write about my experiences with the courses, the instructors, my discoveries, the readings, and the best of all, my colleagues.

I am halfway into the program (it ends in September), but I think it's never too late to start the important things.

Up next: expect my post on my First class in the NSP- Foundations of Leadership Class.
